6:30 p.m. – Meeting
Collins Learning Center at Crossroads
Our meeting this month will begin with a presentation about the Wayne Stenzel Memorial Scholarship, a new club initiative. Committee members Breanne Johnson, Cathy Edmundson and Rob Edmundson have been working for the past few months developing guidelines, eligibility, and program rules for the scholarship. Wayne was one of the initial members of the club, who passed away last year. All the memorials for him were donated by the family to our organization.
Our speaker this month will be club member Bill Meyer, who will discuss the nutritional needs of honeybees throughout their lifespan, including the economics the bees utilize to achieve nutrients. Bill’s presentation will also include a short discussion of their genetics and the difficulty in breeding the perfect honeybee.
