DCBC Meeting: Raising Russian Honeybees – January 21
Happy New Year everyone and welcome to beekeeping 2025; the 10th anniversary year of the Door County Beekeepers Club. This meeting will be an exciting way to begin the new year with elections and an exciting program. In accordance with our new bylaws, the membership will now elect officers each year. The Door County Beekeepers Club will conduct a beginning beekeeping class on Saturday, January 25th at The Crossroads at Big Creek. The class will be held in the Collins Learning Center beginning at 8:00 am concluding at noon. For those interested in the fascinating hobby of honeybees and honey production, this class will provide a general overview of the hobby and discuss equipment needs, how to obtain bees, colony management, and hive components.
