HIVE DIVE: Crossroads Flow Hive at 5:30 PM
This is the club hive located along the trails at Crossroads, just south of the Collins Learning Center. We will be checking the hive and explaining how honey is harvested from a flow hive. We will also demonstrate a powdered sugar roll test for mites.

Mark will discuss checking and preparing your hives for winter. Topics to be discussed include: Mite checks, Fat bees, Pollen patty feeding, Ventilation, and Hive protection. Audience and member comments about their experiences will be encouraged.
