This is a great opportunity for new and interested beekeepers to learn more about hive checks and what they should be looking for. Bring your protective gear. \n6:30 p.m. – Meeting \nTopic: Beehive inspections.\nPresenter: Dan Ziehli \nOur program this month will feature Dan Ziehli (former State Bee Inspector)\, who has spoken several times at prior DCBC meetings. Dan will provide practical tips about hobby beekeeping and engage the group with discussions and questions about local experiences. In addition to his presentation\, Dan will be making hive visits the next day (Thursday\, May 22nd) to provide hive inspections and answer your specific questions. If you signed up for an inspection at the April meeting\, Dan will contact you to schedule the approximate time. \n
